Sun in Leo In The Theater

The sun is the astrological "planet" of the ego, the self/self-expression, attention, creativity, and presentation. Leo is the sign of the lion representing pride, drama, leadership, and dignity. It is a fixed sign (representing stability), it is a fire sign (representing physical/spiritual energy).  The sign is ruled by the sun, which means that the sun is also in domicile when it is in the sign of Leo. That means that a sun in Leo native will display the most sun-like qualities of all other natives. They will be seeking recognition and respect in the world. They are proud and confident as people, but also they can be quite self-centered.  They are highly self-expressive as people because they understand that their presentation is important when wanting others to know who you are and what you stand for.

As actors, they are vibrant, energetic, and expressive.  They were born for the stage, which is why many of them are drawn to the theater.  Particularly, they are actors bred for stage plays because they love to be applauded for all of their efforts.  They put their heart into a role, making their identity well known in the acting world. They perform best when they feel appreciated.  This of course means that criticism makes them less enthusiastic as actors. Their “Achilles heel” is most certainly their pride as it prevents them from being redirected.  Of course, their pride in their work as actors is also beneficial for them because they expect nothing but the best from themselves. They may be difficult to work with because they want things to go their way.  Practicing humility is the key to being a successful actor. Even in minor roles, they always attempt to stand out in their role. Lead roles are best for them because they have so much presence.

As directors, they are natural born leaders, so directing is made for them.  They take charge of projects with confidence and pride.  This can be a good thing or bad thing depending. For one, they never let criticisms stop them from directing the movie they wish to create.  On the other hand, they don’t accept constructive criticism that might be pertinent to their success as directors. They can be demanding as directors because they want their position on a matter to be loud and clear.  Success comes easy to these natives because they know how to present an incredible movie experience; the louder the drama, the better. They must be careful not to let movie successes go to their head and recognize the part everyone is playing to make the movie a success.
