   Venus is the planet of love, beauty, money, and the arts. It has the heaviest influence on our musical appreciation as a result. As explained, Venus in the transit chart plays its own special role when thinking about music. Through the signs, Venus makes its transit one month at a time.  In each sign Venus develops a different style and flair, representing the nature of current music around us. 

    When Neptune is found in these signs, it will also give off similar energy, as the higher octave of Venus. However, Neptune affects an entire generation which means Neptune's influence on the music trends will last longer.

 

Transit Venus or Neptune in Aries: When Venus or Neptune is transiting Aries the current trend in music will be focused on innovation, boldness, and energy.  Its a passionate time of year and so music will reflect that energy! You or the people around you may have the urge to start new music trends or projects involving music at this time. If you notice the energy of boldness and innovation, who knows, Venus or Neptune might be transiting Aries! Watch out for a highly competitive atmosphere among musical artists. Venus is in detriment here which means one may get carried away with their boldness. When Venus or Neptune transits Taurus music may gain more interest at this time among people, for Venus is in domicile in Taurus. Nature is an inspiration at this time for musical artists and appreciators, and so is love. Usually Venus transits Taurus in the month of March, April, May, June, or early July, mostly in springtime or early summer.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Gemini: When Venus or Neptune is transiting Gemini the current trend in music may be more lively, experimental, and communicative. Its a good time for musical artists to try new things. Music that motivates movement may also be in trend. Its a lighter time for music expression; nothing too deep or too damp. Usually Venus transits Gemini in the month of April, May, June, July, or early August, mostly in mid-spring or summer.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Cancer: When Venus or Neptune is transiting Cancer the current trend in music may be cultural, romantic, and imaginative. Music artists may draw inspiration from family or the ocean at this time.  Venus transits Cancer in the month of May, June, July, August, and Early September, mostly in the summertime. Some consider Neptune to be exalted in Cancer, which means there may be a generation full of creative and inspiring music artists at this time.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Leo: When Venus or Neptune is transiting Leo the current trend in music may be upbeat, dramatic, romantic, and fun! It's a great time to be creative and put on a show. There may be a cluster of artists giving of their creative talents, with a strong need for artistic attention. There is a stronger focus on entertainment rather than emotion or lyrical ability. Venus transits Leo in the month of June, July, August, September, or early October, mostly in the summer time or early autumn.  Some consider Neptune to be exalted in Leo, which means there will be a generation of inspiring music artists at this time.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Virgo: When Venus is transiting Virgo the current trend in music has a tone of realness. Communicative messages are emphasized. There may be criticism expressed through music or you and others may be more critical of music made by others at this time. After all, Venus is falling in Virgo. Music may lose the interests of others at this time, as more important matters become priority. Venus transits Virgo in the month of July, August, September, October, or Early November, mostly in the mid summer or in autumn. Neptune is in detriment in Virgo, so should Neptune be in this sign there will be a generation of music critics or creative censorship.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Libra: When Venus or Neptune is transiting Libra the current trend in music focuses on social ideas. From these things musical artists draw inspiration. Relating to other people of all backgrounds is a key focus at this time.  There is a renewed interest in creating beautiful masterpieces at this time, as Venus is in domicile in Libra. Love is also a source of inspiration. Venus transits Libra in the month of August, September, October, November, or early December, mostly in autumn.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Scorpio: When Venus or Neptune is transiting Scorpio the current trend in music is more intense, maybe even hostile. Taboo subjects such as sex, drugs, death, or violence may be a source of inspiration to music artists at this time.  Music may be deeper than it has ever been throughout the year. Venus is in detriment here, so be careful of taking things too far. Venus transits Scorpio in the month of September, October, November, December, or early January, mostly in autumn or early winter.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Sagittarius: When Venus or Neptune is transiting Sagittarius the current trend in music is highly uplifting, optimistic, and spiritual. Music may take a more festive or cultural undertone. Philosophy or religion may be a source of inspiration for music artists at this time.  Music will be more lively than usual. Venus transits Sagittarius in the month of October, November, December, January, or early February, mostly in late autumn or wintertime.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Capricorn: When Venus is transiting here the current trend in music may take a more serious or even a pessimistic undertone.  Of course, music also becomes more meaningful.  Inspiration is drawn from the real world and one's own ambitions.  Venus transits Capricorn in the month of November, December, January, February, or early March, mostly in wintertime. Neptune is considered to be falling in the sign of Capricorn by some, so there may be more artistic limitations.

Transit Venus or Neptune in Aquarius: When Venus or Neptune is transiting here the current trend in music is innovative, futuristic, and may be even odd.  Humanitarian ideals may be a source of inspiration at this time.  Venus transits Aquarius in the month of December, January, February, March, or early April, mostly in wintertime or early spring. Some consider Neptune to be falling in Aquarius, so music may have more artistic limitations. When Venus or Neptune is in Aquarius, people may prefer to perform in groups.
