In astrology, there are 10 planets that are considered the most important indicators of both psychological dispositions and events.  While Mercury gives the strongest indicators as to how we might be as gamers and game developers, other planets may also influence our gaming experience such as our tastes in games (indicated by Venus), our need for challenge (indicated by Mars), our need for change and invention (indicated by Uranus), and even our need to escape and create (indicated by Neptune).  I will be describing how the various planets influence our gaming experience below.

The sun in astrology represents our ego, our self-esteem, pride, and self-expression.  In as gamers the sun will represent our ego, how we take loss and wins.  It can show what type of gamer you are and how you like to play video games.  As a developer it will reflect your self-expression, especially if you are an executive director and in the lead on projects of some sort.

Sun in Aries: These natives love to take on gaming challenges and are no stranger to challenging others.  Sometimes they may bite off more than they can chew.  As developers they prefer things to go their way and on their terms.  They are likely to want to be the boss or director of any products they create.  Originality in game development is more than likely important to them.
